The staff seemed kind and helpful . my room was a single room, it was small yet it felt peaceful and immaculate. sitting in the hotel with a drink was a true pleasure. I found the atmosphere warm and inviting

the staff was amazing and so helpful! i really enjoyed the free car parking, it made everything so much easier. the hotel's location is perfect, right in the village center.
the french fries portion was a bit small with the steak pie.

i had the steak pie, the chunky steak melted in my mouth, and it came in a generous portion! my husband's lamb chops looked great, served with mash, fresh vegetables, and mint gravy. the beer-battered haddock portions are huge too!

the hotel is right in the heart of the area! i was so lucky with the view, i could see down the main street from my window. the staff were friendly. the whole place was super clean.
the woman at reception seemed a little stressed! she wasn't exactly rude, just maybe a bit overwhelmed.

the hotel has on-site parking, this was essential for me. it is very close to the main shops. the building is steeped in history and the area is so lovely!

the breakfast was not booked on booking.com, but it was easily arranged at check-in! it cost £10 and it was delicious with lots of choice available! refills of coffee were also available.
